Sonophoresis
Sonophoresis uses ultrasound to increase skin permeability. It is an effective infusion procedure for the therapist wishing to achieve maximum results for their clients with the minimum of discomfort.

The increased permeability of the skin created by using sound or sonic waves allows a higher absorption of the active ingredients the therapist is attempting to infuse. The result will be a more economical use of the therapeutic agents applied and a greater response to the agent due to better penetration.

Sonophoresis temporarily reduces the density of the lipids thus effectively opening up intracellular pathways allowing substances with higher molecular weights a higher depth of penetration.

Ultrasound
This promotes the anti-aging effects of serums and aids the repair of damaged cells thus improving the production of collagen and elastin.
